GuestCanPost is committed to publishing accurate, original, and genuinely useful content across a range of topics. This page explains how we make editorial decisions, how contributed content is handled, and how we distinguish editorial content from commercial content.

Our editorial mission

GuestCanPost exists to provide readers with well-researched, practical, and engaging articles written by knowledgeable contributors. Every publishing decision is made with the reader’s experience and interests as the primary consideration – not the commercial interests of advertisers or contributors.

Our stance on paid content

As of September 2026, GuestCanPost does not accept payment for content publication of any kind. We do not offer:

  • Paid guest posts
  • Sponsored article placements
  • Dofollow links in exchange for payment
  • Any form of commercial link arrangement

All content published on GuestCanPost is selected exclusively on editorial merit. Contributors submit articles for free.

However free submission does not mean automatic publication. Every article submitted to GuestCanPost must pass our full editorial review process – including checks for originality, plagiarism, genuine reader value, author credentials, and outbound link appropriateness – before it is considered for publication. Articles that do not meet our standards are declined regardless of topic or contributor.

This policy is permanent and non-negotiable.

Who publishes on GuestCanPost

Content on GuestCanPost is produced by:

  • Staff editors who write, commission, and review content in-house
  • Verified contributors – industry professionals, subject matter experts, and writers who have been reviewed and approved by our editorial team before their first article is published

All contributors are required to provide their real name, a verifiable online presence (LinkedIn, personal website, or professional profile), and a brief biography that accurately reflects their expertise. Anonymous or pseudonymous submissions are not accepted.

In September 2026, we conducted a full content audit and permanently removed all articles that did not meet these editorial standards, including any content that existed primarily for link placement purposes. This resulted in the removal of 639 posts representing 76% of our entire archive.

How we review submissions

Every article submitted to GuestCanPost goes through the following process before publication:

  1. Initial screening – we check that the article meets our minimum length, originality, and formatting requirements
  2. Plagiarism check – all content is verified for originality using independent plagiarism detection tools
  3. Editorial review – an editor reads the article for factual accuracy, clarity, grammatical quality, and genuine reader value
  4. Link review – all outbound links are checked to ensure they are relevant, editorially appropriate, and correctly attributed. All commercial outbound links carry rel=”nofollow”
  5. Author verification – we verify the contributor’s real name, biography, and online presence before publication
  6. Publication decision – articles that pass all stages are scheduled. Those that do not are declined

We do not publish articles that fail any stage of this process regardless of the contributor’s history with the site. Our team reviews approximately 15 submissions per day against these standards.

Accuracy and corrections

We take factual accuracy seriously. If you believe an article published on GuestCanPost contains an error please contact us at [email protected] with the specific claim in question and supporting evidence. We will review all correction requests and where an error is confirmed update the article and note the correction at the bottom of the post.

Sponsored and commercial content

GuestCanPost does not currently publish any paid or sponsored posts. As of September 2026 we have permanently discontinued all paid guest post arrangements.

If in future we choose to accept sponsored content it will be clearly labelled with a Sponsored disclosure at the top of the article. Outbound links within sponsored content will carry the rel=”sponsored” attribute in compliance with Google’s webmaster guidelines. We will not accept sponsored content that promotes gambling platforms prescription drugs weapons tobacco alcohol or any category prohibited under our content guidelines.

Editorial content is never influenced by advertising relationships.

Affiliate links

GuestCanPost does not currently use affiliate links in editorial content. If this changes all affiliate relationships will be disclosed clearly within the relevant article in compliance with FTC guidelines.

Conflicts of interest

Contributors are required to disclose any relevant conflicts of interest before publication – including employment, ownership stakes, or paid relationships with companies or products mentioned in their article. Where a conflict of interest exists it will be disclosed within the article itself.

Content we do not publish

Regardless of how a submission is framed GuestCanPost will not publish:

  • Content that exists primarily to place a commercial link rather than to inform readers
  • Promotional content presented as independent editorial opinion
  • Content about gambling sports betting or gaming exchange platforms
  • Content promoting prescription drugs controlled substances tobacco or alcohol sales
  • Content promoting weapons ammunition or weapon modification
  • AI-generated or substantially AI-assisted content presented as human-written
  • Scraped spun or plagiarised content
  • Content that makes unverified medical financial or legal claims
  • Content from contributors who cannot provide a real name and verifiable biography
  • Essay writing dissertation or academic assignment help services
  • Paid-to-click money scheme or similar monetisation content

Outbound link policy

All outbound commercial links in content published on GuestCanPost carry rel=”nofollow” in compliance with Google’s webmaster guidelines. We do not sell links. We do not offer dofollow links in exchange for payment or any other commercial arrangement. Our link policy is applied consistently across all published content.

Removal requests

If you are a contributor and wish to have your article removed from GuestCanPost contact us at [email protected]. We will review all removal requests and respond within 10 business days.

If you are a third party and believe content published on GuestCanPost infringes your copyright or contains defamatory material please contact us with full details and supporting documentation.
